As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining store standards while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
* Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Manage stock levels, including ordering and stock management to optimise product availability.
* Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Implement promotional strategies to increase footfall and enhance sales performance.
* Conduct regular training sessions to develop staff skills in selling techniques and customer engagement.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
* Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and organised shopping environment.
* Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for upper management as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette.
* Strong administrative skills, including experience with inventory management systems.
* Ability to sell effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
