Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Blackpool – Full Time – January 2025 Start Location: Blackpool Start Date: January 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only Salary: £80 - £100 per day (depending on experience) Teaching Personnel is working closely with a supportive and inclusive school in Blackpool to recruit a committed Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2025. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome behavioural challenges and succeed in their education. Your Role Will Include: Supporting pupils with behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. Implementing behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques. Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and structured learning environment. Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement. Contributing to behaviour plans and liaising with pastoral and SEN teams. We’re Looking For Someone Who: Has experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties. Is calm, patient, and resilient under pressure. Understands safeguarding and behaviour management principles. Can work collaboratively with staff and external agencies.
