A collaborative, national award-winning Architectural Practice is looking to appoint a talented Architectural Technologist to join their Leeds City Centre studio.
The successful Architectural Technologist, with ideally 3–5 years’ experience, will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of a well-established practice employing 60+ staff across five national offices. The team has been accredited to an Investors in People (IIP) Gold standard and is recognised as one of the highest-performing architecture practices on the IIP international database.

They offer a diverse and engaging portfolio of projects across multiple sectors including Education (their traditional strength), as well as Commercial & Industrial, Healthcare, Leisure & Arts, Residential, and Sports/Recreational. Many projects are also within conservation areas or involve heritage elements.
Role & Responsibilities of the Architectural Technologist
1. Assist in the technical delivery of projects, working collaboratively within project teams.
2. Contribute to the production of planning and construction drawing packages, including drawings, schedules, and specifications.
3. Support project delivery across a range of RIBA stages, particularly stages 3–5.
4. Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and statutory authorities as required.
5. Coordinate information with external consultants and internal team members.
6. Work closely with senior team members while continuing to develop technical and professional skills.
Qualifications and Experience
7. Architectural Technologist with approximately 3–5 years’ experience within an Architectural Practice.
8. Experience working on projects through planning and technical stages.
9. Good knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy, and construction detailing.
10. Strong technical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail.
11. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
12. Experience using REVIT is highly desirable.
