SEND Teaching Assistant – Cannock

Full-Time, Term-Time Only

We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-established SEN school in the Cannock area, offering full-week availability.

Key Responsibilities
* Support students with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and complex learning needs).
* Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans.
* Assist pupils with classroom tasks, personal care (if required) and emotional regulation.
* Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
* Promote independence, engagement and confidence in all pupils.

Location
Cannock and surrounding areas – easily accessible from Lichfield, Walsall and Stafford.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
