As a Payroll / Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate payroll records, assisting with the processing of payroll, and supporting the administrative functions of our organisation. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be essential in ensuring that our employees are paid accurately and on time, which is crucial to maintaining morale and support within our team.


Your responsibilities will include:

* Processing payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
* Maintaining and updating payroll records, including employee information and tax details.
* Assisting with the administration of employee benefits and entitlements.
* Providing support to the HR team with recruitment and onboarding processes.
* Responding to payroll-related queries from staff in a timely and professional manner.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.


What we are looking for:

* Previous experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
