PIB RIsk Management (part of PIB Group) is seeking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor (Pathway to Fire Engineer), someone with proven ability to bring fire safety expertise to a role that is anything but routine. Travel with purpose: visit new clients, see how different buildings operate, and solve real-world problems on the ground. Autonomy and impact: shape safer outcomes while building your engineering skillset. The role Conduct and deliver high-quality fire risk assessments and provide fire risk management consultancy. Advise clients on practical, risk-led improvements. Collaborate with designers, contractors, and insurers on new and existing buildings. Contribute to fire strategies and technical reports with support from senior engineers. What you’ll bring Suitably qualified in Fire Risk Assessment to Level 4 as a minimum. Be registered with the IFSM fire risk assessor register at Tier 2 minimum (CFAR) Strong experience with residential and commercial premises. Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and guidance documents. Strong diary management and administration skills. GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above in Math’s and English. Strong written and verbal communication; confident with clients on site. A curious, analytical mindset and a willingness to travel. Ability to think outside of the box and provide realistic cost-effective solutions.
