Job Description
The IT Systems & Business Applications Manager will oversee the administration, optimization, and support of Microsoft-centric platforms and business applications, ensuring seamless integration with business processes. This role combines technical expertise with strategic oversight, supporting process improvement, vendor management, and team leadership.
This person will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and the ability to balance technical detail with strategic thinking.
Job Requirements
Essential:
* Strong experience with Microsoft Windows, Entra ID, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (industry or consultancy experience highly desirable).
* Proven ability in business process analysis and system mapping.
* Hands-on experience in hardware diagnostics and support.
* Vendor management and budget oversight experience.
* Previous experience managing a small team.
Desirable:
* Exposure to M&A integration projects.
* Familiarity with ExpandIT, Evaluate, Evision or similar ERP-related tools.
Job Responsibilities
Microsoft Ecosystem Management:
* Administer Microsoft Tenant including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and related services.
* Ensure security, compliance, and performance across all Microsoft platforms.
Business Applications Support:
* Provide expert support for Business Central, Evision, Evaluate, ExpandIT, and related applications.
* Assist with business process analysis and system mapping to improve efficiency.
Hardware & Infrastructure:
* Perform hands-on diagnostics and support for hardware issues.
* Liaise with third-party vendors for escalations and non-support projects.
Process & Automation:
* Support knowledge building in Power Automate and Power BI.
* Drive automation initiatives and reporting improvements.
Strategic Projects:
* Provide IT oversight for M&A activities as directed by the executive team.
* Manage IT budgets and cost control measures.
Leadership & Collaboration:
* Manage a small IT team and critical third-party vendors.
* Partner with department leads to align technology solutions with business needs.
