Joiner (Doors & Windows)
Location: This post will be based at Link’s Falkirk office, with travel required across various sites.
Hours of Work: 39 per week, Monday to Friday.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Joiner/Window fitter to become part of C~urb’s Windows and Doors Team. You will provide a high quality and efficient service, carrying out all aspects of joinery work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or under service agreements with other organisations. C~urb is a partner company of Link Group and provides customer‑focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland’s Central Belt. We also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities.
The post is based within the Windows and Doors team where you will work as part of a multi‑skilled trade team and be responsible for carrying out windows and doors installations, and other component renewals. You will need to work throughout Link’s areas of operation, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will plan your own workload and work flexibly to meet timescales. Access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform and PPE are provided.
About You
You will have proven experience in a similar joinery role and an NVQ/City & Guilds qualification in Joinery or equivalent. You will have a competent knowledge of joinery manufactured components and knowledge of other core trades associated with joinery installations.
This role requires knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care and awareness of health and safety requirements and how both impact on the method of work and customer needs.
As a Joiner and window fitter, you will have knowledge of a variety of traditional and non‑traditional construction methods, materials and installations.
