Join Our Team as a Data Manager at Longsands Academy! Longsands Academy is seeking a dedicated Data Manager to oversee our MIS and associated systems. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of assessment data, driving improvements in student attainment and progress through effective data analysis.
Responsibilities
* Data Management Expert: manage academy data, timetabling and curriculum management information systems to run smoothly and efficiently.
* Performance Driver: provide key data to the Senior Leadership Team and staff to inform and drive performance improvements.
* Analytical Thinker: produce timetables, complete detailed reports and analyse data trends to support informed decision-making.
* Educator and Trainer: coordinate and train staff on data understanding and MIS usage.
* System Supporter: support effective use of MIS throughout the academy and ensure full potential is realized.
* Results Manager: manage the importing of results and database information from various systems with accuracy.
* Collaborative Partner: work closely with the Exams Officer to support management of results and analysis processes.
* Detail-Oriented: ensure pupil personal and contact data is accurate and up to date, maintaining high data integrity.
About You
* MIS Proficient: up-to-date knowledge of school management information systems and a solid understanding of databases and spreadsheets.
* Experienced Professional: experience in a similar role, preferably within an academy setting.
* Analytical Expert: ability to produce meaningful reports, conduct detailed analysis and identify data trends for informed decision-making.
