A well-established and highly regarded 11–18 secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced and organised School Business Manager to play a key strategic role in the day-to-day and long-term running of the school.
This is a senior support staff position, working closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to ensure the school's financial, operational and administrative systems run efficiently and sustainably.
The Role
As School Business Manager, you will take responsibility for the school's financial management, HR processes, estates oversight and operational planning. You will act as a key advisor to senior leaders, supporting strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance, value for money and smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Budget planning, monitoring and reporting
* Line management of finance, admin and premises staff
* Oversight of procurement, contracts and supplier relationships
