Title: Commissioning Technician – Hydraulics & Mechanical Systems (Forklift WAH) Location: UK (major project sites) Contract Type: Contract – immediate start Role Summary: We are recruiting commissioning technicians who bring a hydraulics or mechanical systems background to the commissioning phase of large-scale engineering projects. You will work under a lead engineer, performing tests, flushes, pressure trials and assisting with system validation while also handling forklift operations and working safely at heights. Key Responsibilities: * Execute commissioning work on hydraulic/mechanical systems: flushing, pressure testing, bleeding, purging. * Log test results, raise punch items, assist with reporting and system sign-off. * Read P&IDs, hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings. * Perform material movements – forklift license required. * Work at height tasks during installation or commissioning phases.Essential Requirements: * Experience in mechanical/hydraulic commissioning in a relevant environment (offshore, heavy industry, wind). * Forklift licence & Work at Height certification. * Good understanding of hydraulic test procedures, pumps, valves, actuators. * Valid UK right to work. Desirable: * Experience with offshore or wind sector commissioning. * Familiarity with site HSE systems and commissioning documentation (test packs, sign-off)
