Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Leader at New Horizons Children’s Academy to stimulate and engage our children in exciting play and games at lunchtime whilst maintaining their safety. A willingness to work as part of a team and seek positive solutions is essential.
Hours
Hours are either 11.30 – 13.00 or 11.50 – 13.20, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will supervise pupils outside in the dining areas, ensuring good standards of behaviour by following the School’s Behaviour Management Policy.
* The Lunchtime Playleader will assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc).
* They will provide welfare support to the pupils, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training) and will ensure School security regulations are upheld.
* At the discretion of the school, the Lunchtime Playleader may be required to work between 1-5 INSET days per an academic year, to complete additional training and safeguarding update, which may sometimes be outside of school hours.
