Orbis Education and Care are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our compassionate and enthusiastic team at our Ty Dyffryn Home, and we want you to be part of our mission. Our goal at Ty Dyffryn is to support and nurture the young people in our care while they transition into adulthood.

Ty Dyffryn is a 2-bedroom home based in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taff, supporting young adults as they transition into adulthood.
What does the role include?
As a Support Worker at Ty Dyffryn, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our people, supporting their daily activities, additional needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including therapists and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
What you’ll do:
Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.
Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team.
Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
What you’ll need:
A caring nature, resilience, and great communication.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting young people with transport to school, appointments, and activities.
The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
