Kitchen Assistant – Schools & Healthcare (DBS Required)

Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
3. Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment is clean and organised
4. Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods
5. Adhering to all food safety and health & safety regulations
Working Hours
6. Monday to Friday (weekends typically off)
7. Various shift patterns available:
8. Start times between 7:00am – 10:00am
9. Finish times between 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Requirements
10. Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) – essential
11. Right to work in the UK
12. Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar role
13. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
14. Two employment references
15. Strong reliability and excellent timekeeping
