We are currently seeking three PBS Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, which may include learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, communication differences, and ongoing physical health conditions. Some individuals may also have a forensic background. Working under the supervision of a Team Leader, you will help deliver high-quality support to improve their day-to-day living and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team supporting individuals with complex presentations.
* Provide day-to-day support, assisting with independent living and promoting well-being.
* Record observations and escalate concerns where necessary.
* Use a person-centred, strengths-based, and psychologically informed approach.
* Support individuals with communication differences and emotional regulation.
* Promote engagement in activities that improve quality of life.
* Ensure a safe and supportive environment for those receiving care.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, or forensic backgrounds.
* Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed approaches.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support individuals with diverse needs.
* Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and support planning.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Social Care, Psychology, Mental Health Support, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) required.
* Must be eligible to work in the U.K.
