Finance Manager — High Wycombe

Hybrid | Full Time

What You'll Be Doing

Finance & Reporting

* Oversee all financial transactions, month-end and year-end close processes
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning
* Monitor cash flow and ensure the business meets its financial obligations
* Prepare financial reports and KPI dashboards for the Managing Director
* Liaise with external accountants and manage GDPR/ICO compliance

Credit Control & Accounts Payable

* Manage client invoicing, credit notes, and payment reconciliation via Xero
* Chase overdue payments and set credit limits using Experian reports
* Raise purchase orders, approve bills, and manage supplier payments via Monzo

HR & Payroll

* Collate and submit monthly payroll to external accountants
* Manage new starter onboarding, HR documentation, and BrightHR administration
* Support recruitment activity and conduct staff appraisals


About You

* Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role, ideally within an SME environment
* Confident using Xero & Excel
* A hands-on self-starter who is comfortable working across finance and operational tasks
* Strong communicator who can present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Highly organised, detail-conscious, and calm under pressure
* An interest in sustainability or the creative industries would be a great fit — though not essential
