Foreman – Civil Engineering / Highways

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (Negotiable) + Package / Benefits
Contract Type: CIS or PAYE
About the Company
Our client is a long established UK-based construction company specialising in reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, and piling. Our client has a turnover of £100 million per annum. Their expertise spans a wide range of Civil, Commercial and Infrastructure projects, from large-scale bridge projects to more complex projects across the London, Midlands and the South East. Project values vary from £5m - £30m.
About the Opportunity
This opportunity would suit a Foreman that has previous experience within Infrastructure & Roads. The client that I am representing I have worked closely with for over 5 years – I put this client within my top 5 contractors across the whole of the U.K.
Roles and responsibilities include:
* Managing your team on your section of the site
* Allocating tasks and responsibilities to team members
* Maintaining team morale and productivity
* Ensuring all work is carried out to the required standards.
* Implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations.
About the Requirements
* Proven experience managing road projects in the U.K.
* Strong technical understanding of Highways
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to build lasting relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
