Residential Conveyancer / Property Lawyer

We are working with an established law firm looking to recruit a Residential Property Conveyancer to join their Highcliffe office. This is a hands-on role managing a full caseload and playing a key role within a supportive property team.

Duties:

* Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including:
* Sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold, registered and unregistered)
* Plot sales
* Transfers of equity
* New builds
* Remortgages and property finance
* Easements
* Some experience with option agreements and conditional contracts
* Handle the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
* Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents
* Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the process
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Support the firm’s business development initiatives
* Work collaboratively within the property team
* Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards
* Stay up-to-date with property law and conveyancing procedures

Experience & Skills:

* Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with ideally 3–4+ years PQE (flexible for the right candidate)
* Proven experience in residential conveyancing transactions
* Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold property
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and client care skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Commercial approach with a desire to develop client relationships

This is a full-time, office-based role with flexible hybrid working considered.
