You’ll produce timely and accurate management accounts, ensuring information is aligned with internal deadlines and organisational standards. Prepare and consolidate UK management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs. Oversee key accounting areas such as fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, staff costs, property costs, IT costs, FX, and VAT analysis. Manage annual statutory reporting and external audit/tax requirements. Review and complete ONS returns, VAT, PSA, and other tax filings to ensure compliance. Partner with the IT Director to monitor and control spend, ensuring costs are accurately processed and aligned to budget. Review balance sheet reconciliations and drive timely resolution of outstanding queries and issues. Support process improvement initiatives, strengthen team procedures, and assist the Head of Reporting with ad hoc projects. Who we’re looking for: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) Strong financial awareness with excellent attention to detail Proven ability to work effectively under strict deadlines Strong communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels internally and externally Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP is advantageous Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and support continuous process improvements Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently Why choose Magnet?
