Your Opportunity Awaits
In this multi-skilled role, you’ll join a dynamic maintenance team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. Here’s what you can look forward to:
* Providing engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment.
* Working with cutting-edge technologies, including automated equipment, robots, and complex tooling.
* Contributing to the production of Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units, and other electrification machinery.
Whether you’re an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or a multiskilled engineer, we’ll provide you with the training and support you need to enhance your skills. You’ll have access to industry-leading training programs, including Siemens, Kuka Robotics, and ABB Robotics Training. Plus, you’ll be working in one of the cleanest and most modern factories in the area, where a positive work environment is a priority.
What to Expect
As a valued member of our Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Being the first response to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime while adhering to safe working practices.
* Carrying out preventive maintenance checks and ensuring timely completion.
* Implementing permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
* Participating in weekend/shutdown work and delivering projects as needed.
* Embracing training opportunities as required by the business.
What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering.
* Significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with CNC Machining Centres and related systems, including conveyor systems and auxiliary equipment.
* A solid understanding of Siemens PLCs and electrical fault-finding techniques.
