Job Overview
You will lead the school’s SEND provision, ensuring that students with additional needs receive high-quality, tailored support that enables them to succeed academically and personally. The role involves coordinating EHCP processes, managing interventions, supporting teachers with differentiation, and working closely with parents, external agencies and a team of LSAs.

Responsibilities
• Overseeing SEND provision across all year groups
• Managing EHCP reviews, referrals and documentation
• Leading and mentoring the LSA team
• Advising teachers on differentiation and classroom strategies
• Liaising with external professionals and families
• Ensuring full compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
Experience & Qualifications
• National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working in a SEND leadership role
