The Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge is seeking two Teaching Support Coordinators to play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding administrative support across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
About the Role
The Teaching Support Coordinator positions within our academic administration team are responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of key processes that underpin teaching and learning. You will lead on one of our core administrative functions such as timetabling, examinations, or the Cambridge Casual Workers System and act as a trusted advisor and mentor to colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing complex administrative processes for all taught programmes, from application to completion.
* Coordinating teaching support activities, including timetabling and assessment arrangements.
* Overseeing financial administration related to teaching and learning.
* Acting as secretary to committees, preparing agendas, minutes, and reports.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with data protection legislation.
* Driving process improvements and contributing to strategic initiatives within the Faculty.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment. You will have:
* Significant experience in academic or complex administrative roles.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A strong team player who actively contributes to the success of the team whilst fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence with data systems.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Experience of managing budgets and familiarity with student information systems would be an advantage.
