Land Agent / Rural Surveyor - South West Oxfordshire
The Opportunity
A well-established and respected rural property consultancy is seeking a MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to join its Oxfordshire office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive team.
The firm has a long-standing reputation for excellence in rural land agency, estate management, and agricultural consultancy. With deep roots in the farming and rural community, the team offers a broad range of services including valuations, lettings and sales, planning and development, and infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with private and corporate clients
2. Deliver expert advice on agricultural tenancies, land use, and rural property matters
3. Conduct detailed valuations and prepare clear, accurate reports
4. Advise on compulsory purchase, utilities, and compensation
5. Support clients with rural planning and development projects
6. Assist in the delivery of infrastructure schemes
7. Contribute to farm agency and land transactions
Candidate Profile
8. MRICS qualified
9. CAAV membership (desirable but not essential)
10. 2-4 years post-qualification experience in rural surveying
11. Strong analytical and reporting skills
12. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
13. Full UK driving licence

Working Arrangements
22. Core hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
23. Full-time (37.5 hours/week), with flexible and hybrid working options available (minimum 30 hours/week)
