Pay Rate: £95 £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work in schools in and around Wombwell. As a CS, this is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals who enjoy leading and motivating students in the absence of their usual class teacher.
Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervising classes during short-term teacher absences.
* Ensuring students remain on task and follow the lesson plans provided.
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school s policy.
* Reporting any incidents or issues to senior staff as required.
* Providing general support to departments when cover is not needed.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Previous experience in a school or working with young people is desirable.
* Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
* Ability to remain calm, confident, and professional at all times.
* A flexible and proactive approach to classroom supervision.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
