Technical Author – Inorganic Chemicals – UK BAT – 32437

Responsibilities
* Draft BAT Conclusions and produce documents suitable for publication as a new UK‑wide environmental standard for industry.
* Liaise with Technical Working Groups and present final documents.
* Provide technical analysis and critical evaluation of technical arguments and data.
* Write and edit technical documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
* Manage projects and drive completion of deliverables.
Qualifications
* At least five (5) years of relevant working experience.
* Specialist knowledge of the large volume inorganic chemicals (LVIC) industry.
* Good understanding of process engineering, environmental issues, and UK environmental legislation and policy.
* Strong technical writing and communication skills.
* Ability to critically analyse technical arguments and data.
* Experience in project management and meeting deadlines.
* Knowledge of UK and EU industrial environmental legislation, particularly IED and Environmental Permitting Regulations.
