Your new role
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a central role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This is a hands-on position where you’ll manage core Azure services, automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code, and ensure high availability andpliance across all cloud environments. You’ll be instrumental in driving the migration from on-premises to Azure, with the opportunity to influence architecture and best practices. It’s a fantastic chance to deepen your cloud expertise, work alongside senior technical leaders, and take ownership of cloud development in a business that truly values innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing and deploying resilient Azure infrastructure
2. Administering Azure resources acrosspute, storage, networking, and identity
3. Automating provisioning using Terraform or ARM templates
4. Monitoring performance and availability of cloud services
5. Enforcing security best practices andpliance standards
6. Supporting workload migrations from on-premises to Azure
7. Maintaining disaster recovery and backup strategies
8. Driving continuous improvement through innovation and collaboration
What you'll need to succeed
9. 5+ years working in cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
10. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
11. ITIL v4 Foundation
12. Hands-on experience with Azure services including VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, Key Vault, Security Center, and Policy
13. Experience with container services (AKS, OpenShift)
14. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation
15. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, firewalls)
16. Knowledge of cloud identity and access control (RBAC, MFA, conditional access)
17. Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools
18. Strong documentation andmunication skills
19. You must be eligible for SC clearance.
