Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant North Nottingham Office Based Monday to Thursday - 8:00am – 5:00pm Friday - 8:00am - 1:00pm Eaton Syalon are working with a business in North Nottingham to recruit a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking for a short-term temporary role to support in a busy Accounts Payable team. The Role You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing a high volume of supplier invoices and dealing with supplier queries. Key Responsibilities * Manage the accounts payable inbox * Process high volume of invoices * Maintain the invoice query log * Work with other departments to liaise with suppliers to minimise supplier and invoice queries * Completion of supplier statement reconciliations About You * Previous experience in purchase ledger, dealing with high volume invoice processing and data input * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * The ability to prioritise workload * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * A proactive and team-focused attitude Please note this role is office based, full-time, Monday to Friday and doesn't offer a hybrid working approach but does come with an early finish on Fridays! It's an initial short-term temporary support role so you will need to be available to start on Monday 26th January 2026
