Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Manager at Johnson Electric
Location: Ancaster, ON (onsite)
Overview: As our next Manufacturing Manager, you will lead the shop floor operations and ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment. You’ll supervise technical teams, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations in quality, speed, and cost.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Oversee daily operations on the shop floor
* Supervise and coach technical employees to meet quality and service goals
* Serve as process leader, defining and improving work standards
* Coordinate inventory and purchasing activities
* Communicate effectively across teams to align goals and resolve issues
* Partner with Program Managers to set targets for quality, speed, and cost
* Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and quality standards
* Monitor training needs and coordinate development programs
* Implement and maintain build standards
* Approve employee time cards
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and company policies
* Perform other related duties as required
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
* Strong understanding of automated solutions and assembly processes
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical concepts
* Proven team management and leadership skills
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
* Proficiency in FMEA and GD&T
* Knowledge of automotive systems and quality standards (IATF 16949/ISO 9001)
* High integrity, dependability, and results-driven mindset
* Bonus: Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing teams
* Bonus: Background in automation and machine building environments
* Bonus: Track record of successful continuous improvement initiatives
