Our client is a successful and well-established food manufacturer, they are looking for a Materials Coordinator / Production Planner / Materials Analyst to join their team.
NOTE: This is a temporary vacancy up until the end of December 2025, however it is likely to go on much longer, and could also become a permanent job.

Salary depending on experience.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm.
The materials coordinator will ensure that raw materials, packaging, and other supplies are available at the right time and in the right quantities to support production, managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and liaising with suppliers and internal teams to maintain seamless operations and adhere to quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include scheduling material deliveries, resolving shortages, managing supplier relationships, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety and GMP standards.
Responsibilities:
* Forecasting ingredients demand
* Generating purchase orders
* Maintaining spreadsheets
* Minimising stock levels
* Collaborating with production, purchasing, and other departments to optimise the supply chain
Required Experience:
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Understanding of finance.
* End to end or supply chain knowledge
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with material management or MRP systems.
* Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and find solutions to problems.
* Clear, persuasive, and influential communication to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to managing information and ensuring accuracy.
