1. To perform venepuncture on adults in a friendly, efficient and professional manner, in the in patient and out patient setting.
2. Provide training, support and leadership to phlebotomists in a professional manner, acting as a role model under the guidance of the senior lead phlebotomist.
3. Prioritise workload effectively so as to provide a continuous service. across the Trust.

4. Good general education; school qualifications listed
5. Must be numerate and literate with a good command of written English

6. College or university qualifications
Experience

7. Previous phlebotomy experience within a patient setting
8. Evidence of good communication skills
Desirable criteria
9. 1 year’s phlebotomy experience
10. Completed a venepuncture course
