We're looking for a Construction Lead to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team.
Location: Flexible within the Anglian Water region - a mixture of office work, site visits, and home working.
Hours: 45 hours per week.
In this role, you will work on the Anglian Water IMRDS alliance, which involves integrated maintenance, repair, and development services. The team maintains water supply systems, handles emergency repairs such as water bursts, and develops innovative ways to better serve customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As the Construction Lead, you'll work within the mainslaying team, committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions for critical infrastructure projects. You will lead the planned works construction team, delivering over 300 schemes annually to improve the asset base, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with Engineering & Planning Managers to ensure solutions are delivered in compliance, within timescales, budget, and scope.
* Managing delivery teams across the region, including Senior Delivery Agents and their teams.
* Ensuring active engagement in governance processes and reviewing scheme construction packs prior to approval.
* Monitoring and reviewing commercial data.
* Driving excellence in Health & Safety standards.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you have:
* Extensive management experience within the construction or water sector.
* Experience in contract management and site supervision.
* Experience with water networks construction projects and water distribution systems, with a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework.
* Significant commercial awareness.
* The ability to understand infrastructure from strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives.
* Skills in balancing solution requirements with service delivery capabilities.
* Good understanding and experience with the ROV process, especially root cause analysis.
* A full driving license.
