Tasks and Qualifications:
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
* For Installation projects: act as EHS Lead, supporting the Project Management Team to ensure safety, legal compliance, and adherence to EHS standards.
* Support enforcement of Dematic EHS Standards.
* Promote and enhance a positive safety culture.
* Enforce principal contractor/client and site EHS standards.
* Vet potential sub-contractor groups.
* Participate in design risk assessments and CEA reviews.
* Ensure risk register implementation aligned with CDM Regulations.
* Serve as the EHS subject matter expert for country/local EHS regulations, ensuring compliance.
* Advise Site Management on differences in country-approved codes of practice and Dematic standards.
* Collaborate with Dematic and local EHS teams to achieve EHS goals.
* Provide input and advice on EHS issues.
* Audit the One Dematic Annex EHS compliance.
* Support safety initiatives and safety culture enhancement.
* Mentor, educate, and coach managers & employees on safety standards and best practices.
* Recommend safety improvements for installation sites.
* Conduct Behavioral Based Safety Observations (BBSO) and record on Gensuite.
* Provide practical safety solutions during installation and commissioning works.
* Support project & site management in sustainability efforts.
* Maintain the Dematic Safe System of Work (SSoW) on all sites.
* Monitor adherence to the Site EHS Plan and annexes.
Your Qualifications:
* Minimum NEBOSH Level 5 Diploma in Occupational H & S.
* Valid EHS memberships as required.
* IOSH, IIRSM, IPAF, CITB (CSCS).
Language skills: minimum B1-C1 level in project language and local language.
Experience:
* At least 5 years as an EHS professional or in an EHS role.
* 3 years on installation/construction sites.
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations and Machinery Directive.
IT Skills:
* Proficient in MS Office and cloud-based systems.
Additional competencies:
* Lead EHS teams across multiple sites.
* Provide EHS training, write safety alerts, support incident investigations, review risk assessments.
No outstanding criminal or civil law cases related to EHS matters against the candidate.
