Im working with a great business in Bispham who are looking to bring in an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller and play a key part in the finance function.
This is a hands-on role with real exposure across the business.
What youll be doing:
* Supporting monthly management accounts for multiple entities
* Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Budgeting and forecasting support
* Variance analysis and reporting
* Monitoring income, costs and margins
* Supporting audits and year-end
* Cashflow reporting
* VAT and regulatory returns
* Working closely with other departments
Youll also get exposure to team oversight and step in when needed. xsngvjr
What theyre looking for:
* AAT qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups etc)
* Good understanding of accounting principles
* Organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines
* Experience with month end close
