The Opportunity We are supporting our client in recruiting a Paralegal (Company Secretarial Services) to join their corporate governance and company secretarial support function. This full‑time, permanent position will work closely with legal and advisory teams, supporting statutory compliance, company administration, and client service delivery. The role will initially be office‑based, with hybrid working available once established. Key Responsibilities Company Secretarial & Statutory Compliance Oversee the day‑to‑day requirements of the organisation’s company secretarial programme. Maintain statutory registers and update company books in electronic and physical formats. Draft and lodge statutory filings at Companies House, including confirmation statements, director appointments/resignations, and share allotments. Assist in the incorporation of new companies and act as the first point of contact for formation‑related queries. Governance Documentation & Records Draft board minutes, written resolutions, and other governance documents. Maintain internal databases to ensure compliance deadlines are met. Prepare company profile reports using statutory information filed with Companies House. Client & Third‑Party Liaison Serve as the first point of contact for company secretarial clients, responding to queries professionally and proactively. Liaise confidently with third parties by email, telephone, and in person. Onboarding & Compliance Support new client onboarding, including identity verification and anti‑money‑laundering requirements. Keep relevant team members updated throughout the process. Skills & Experience Required Essential Experience in a paralegal, company secretarial, or corporate administration role. Strong organisational skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Confident user of Microsoft Office and digital administration systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities, use initiative, and work independently. Professional communication skills and discretion when handling confidential information. Desirable Experience within legal, governance, financial, or broader professional services environments. Familiarity with Companies House processes or company secretarial platforms.
