Overview
PM Group are currently engaged with a Global CDMO who are starting the development of a new manufacturing facility based in Northumberland. The EHS Department is looking to hire an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join the team.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, experience in the following is required:
1. Process Safety Calculations
2. Process Hazard Analysis: HAZID, Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), LOPA reviews
3. Seveso III/Safety Report Preparation
4. Health and Safety Services, Safety Management Systems, OHSAS 18001, Risk Assessments
5. Toxic Dispersion/Fire/Explosion Modelling
6. Audit Experience
7. Chemical Reaction Hazards Evaluation
Qualifications
We would be interested in hearing from candidates who have the following experience:
8. Degree qualification in Process/Chemical engineering (or equivalent)
9. Experience in process design and/or plant operations
10. Excellent awareness of process safety engineering and process safety management
11. Experience in ATEX/DSEAR
