Prospero Teaching is working with a range of schools in Bromley seeking graduates with an interest in education, supporting young people with diverse learning needs in both academic and social contexts.

Roles available include: Graduate Teaching Jobs, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, and Tutor, starting ASAP or September 2025.
Roles are varied and involve working with 5-6 students with needs such as Autism, Dyslexia, Speech and Language Needs, Behaviour Needs, ADHD, and Selective Mutism within mainstream settings.
We are seeking responsible, positive role models eager to learn, grow, and develop pedagogical skills while building rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
What does the Teaching Assistant role involve?
* Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons in the Learning Support / SEND Department
* Building rapport with students with specific needs and implementing strategies to support, nurture, engage, and raise attainment
* Conducting 1:1 sessions in your subject specialty
* Running intervention groups to enhance subject knowledge
School support
You will be supported by the school’s SEN team, including the SENCO, HLTAs, Pastoral Staff, and parents. The school will provide specific information about each child's needs to help you support them effectively. You will receive resources, behaviour management training, and group and 1:1 training from experienced staff.
Opportunities for growth
This role offers exposure to students of various ages and abilities, with opportunities to analyze data, build skills to raise attainment, and deliver numeracy and literacy interventions.
Graduate teaching hours and pay
Full-time school hours, Monday to Friday, varying depending on the school. The role is paid weekly at a daily rate, with potential for a permanent position and subsequent salaried teacher training role. This is a chance to gain valuable experience and build your knowledge with ongoing support and free CPD courses.
