Closing Date: Friday 15th May 2026 Role Overview As a Graduate Aero Software Engineer, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of software systems used across the Aerodynamics department. You will work directly with teams involved in aerodynamic design, mechanical design, manufacturing, wind tunnel testing, and data analysis. This role offers exposure across the full software stack, from database development through to user interface design, allowing you to build technical expertise while delivering practical solutions that enhance departmental performance. Key Responsibilities Support the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of custom software tools for the Aerodynamics department Collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective software solutions Assist in developing applications across the full software stack, including databases, backend systems, and user interfaces Contribute to project delivery from concept through to deployment, while developing ownership and accountability Apply software engineering best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement Support troubleshooting, optimisation, and enhancement of existing systems Learn and develop within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment Requirements Driven by High Performance What do you need to bring to the team? A degree (or expected degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics Strong foundational programming skills in C# and/or Python Understanding of SQL databases, ideally including SQL Server Demonstrable experience in software development through university projects, placements, internships, or graduate programmes A genuine interest in software development within engineering, motorsport, or high-performance technical environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders A proactive, adaptable, and pragmatic mindset Eagerness to learn, develop, and grow within a high-performance team A team like no other.
