Quantity Surveyor – Freelance – New Build Residential
Our leading residential main contractor has an immediate requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a freelance basis for an initial contract of 6 months, managing subcontractor accounts.
The project is a new build apartment project in Surrey near to J12 of the M25 not far from Heathrow. Having started earlier this year, the project is well into construction, and you will join to manage subcontractor accounts. You will be based on this project, but may pick up duties for another live job.
Responsibilities
* Manage subcontractor accounts.
* Support ongoing construction of new build apartment project.
* Create and oversee cost estimates, change order management, and payment processing.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Qualifications
* Recognised UK construction qualification.
* 5–10 years of postgraduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
* Residential experience with leading residential contracting companies.
* Reside at a reasonable distance from the site.
