Are you an experienced administrator with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for an export administrator for their site in Derby. The role will involve coordinating shipments and handling general administration to ensure smooth customer service and operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in an administrative position.
Responsibilities
* Producing accurate and timely dispatch, export documentation, invoices and credit notes, while maintaining compliance with procedures and meeting customer expectations consistently.
* Coordinating goods collection and delivery with carriers, ensuring efficient logistics arrangements and providing requested customer delivery notifications to maintain strong service levels.
* Collecting and maintaining proof of export and POD records accurately and on time, supporting audit readiness and smooth operational processes at all times.
* Managing sales orders, resolving invoice and order queries effectively, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, carriers, and customers.
* Carrying out general administrative tasks including filing, post, email management, telephone handling, and accurate data entry into production control systems.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* Previous experience in a relevant administrative position, preferably within a manufacturing organisation.
* Good understanding of export, import, or shipping paperwork.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Ability to work within a fast paced and varied environment.
