Summary
As a Community Care Practitioner in Dumfries, you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate care to individuals in need, reporting directly to the Locality Manager. This role requires a valid driving licence as you will travel to clients' homes to provide essential support, including assistance with daily living activities and medication administration. Responsibilities
1. Provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
2. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
3. Monitor and document clients' health and behaviour, reporting any changes to the Locality Manager.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
5. Collaborate with family members and other care professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications
6. Previous experience in community care or related fields
7. Valid driving license
8. Skills in medication administration and first aid
9. Ability to perform moving and handling and meal preparation
10. Strong interpersonal skills for effective behaviour management
