Responsibilities
* Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager & hotel team.
* Manage month-end & year-end processes, producing accurate, timely financial reporting.
* Assist in the development of annual budgets in collaboration with other departments.
* Drive cost-efficiency and profitability while supporting long-term growth plans.
* Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other key financial partners.
* Coordinate internal & external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, tax laws, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
* Oversee the accounts payable function and manage accounts receivable.
* Supervise payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
* Be present and proactive – this is a highly visible role requiring engagement with the wider operations team.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality finance – ideally within premium or midscale hotels.
* Extremely commercial with a strong understanding of F&B and operational performance metrics.
* Confident, collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to work closely with non-finance teams.
