Job Title: Estates Surveyor\n\nLocation: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite) – Choice of locations: Newcastle, Manchester, Exeter, Bristol. Cardiff, Peterborough, Worthing, West Malling, Reading.\n\nExpected to travel, 1 or 2 face to face meetings in North. Approx Once a month/as per business needs\n\nContract Duration:31/3/26\n\nDaily Rate: £400/day (Umbrella – Maximum)\n\nIR35 Status: Inside IR35\n\nRole Specifics:\n\nTake full day to day estate management responsibilities for your allocated portfolio.
\nProvide property advice and recommendations \nTo deliver property transactions within your portfolio \nHold a recognised professional surveying qualification, preferably graduate background. \nHold significant estate management experience. \nProvide guidance on Licenses to alter, wayleaves and telecoms code.
\nGeneral Responsibilities:\n\nSupporting the Principal Corporate Property Surveyors \nManaging a defined property portfolio \nDelivering property advice, guidance and transactions in support of the property strategy and good estate management. \nProviding advice and professional support to the Group businesses \nAssisting in the provision of specialist advice, guidance and assurance in line with relevant legislation and best practice \nSharing technical expertise to improve knowledge, capability and competence \nCollaborating and partnering with colleagues across the Group and other government bodies \nCommissioning, supervising and delivering through external property advisors\nSkills/Qualifications required:\n\nCandidate must demonstrate they have a degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline. \nCandidate must have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: Wayleaves Licenses to Alter Telecoms Code\nUnderstand commercial property\nLandlord/tenant law\nProperty management practice\nUsed to working with ext suppliers\nSome familiarity with commissioning & assuring advice that is being provided by ext consultants & advisors\nIdeally chartered surveyors\nExperience with landlord & tenant law\nCommercial property management\nGeneral awareness of commercial property\ntransactions\nWill consider candidates who have degree in estate management/ relevant qual/ experience.\n\nDisability Confident \n\nAs a member of the disability confident scheme, CLIENT guarantees to interview all candidates who have a disability and who meet all the essential criteria for the vacancy.
