We are looking for a Electrical Shift Leader to join our Commercial Property Maintenance team in London.
What you'll do:
1. Support Health & Safety compliance, team training, and carry out all work safely and diligently.
2. Assist with daily supervision, including apprentices, and help complete college reports and required documentation.
3. Perform planned and reactive maintenance, including equipment operation, inspection, fault finding, and repairs in line with company standards.
4. Maintain accurate records, asset registers, incident reports (when assigned), and ensure timely completion of permits, material requests, and quality system requirements.
5. Participate in required training, follow all policies and procedures, and carry out any additional duties within capability.
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Completed a recognised apprenticeship with City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) and NVQ Level 3 (minimum) qualifications.
7. Over 5 years’ engineering experience within the service industry, including at least 2 years of direct client-facing work.
8. Strong knowledge of control systems and HVAC systems, supported by IEE 17th Edition certification.
9. Holds IOSH Working Safely (minimum) and previously authorised as an LV/HV person (advantage).
10. Demonstrates a solid technical foundation built through formal training, industry certifications, and hands-on operational experience.
