Job Description
Western Digital is seeking a highly talented Senior Video and 3D artist to ideate, create and execute on a premium level for a global presence brand. This is a hands‑on role with the expectation to have a view on the entire execution creative flow from the UK office. This role will leverage existing brand identity to adhere to guidelines, along with solving and creating for specific channels. This role is currently hybrid with 1‑2 days in office or as needed.
The role will lead and strategically enhance our digital presence, ensuring consistent, high‑quality output that aligns with business objectives. It supports a global organisation and is a leader in storage and AI infrastructure. Comfortable managing across time zones and partnering across leadership in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* The Senior Video and 3D lead will support multiple internal teams with creative marketing deliverables, spanning product teams, corporate, channel, web and e‑commerce.
* Support and mentor a small, multi‑disciplinary global design team, providing creative direction and feedback, ensuring project objectives are met and delivered.
* Bring to life video and 3D assets that drive the brand message, tell a clean and concise storyline, using the latest in AI development and tools.
* Video requirements span across product line, brand, events, leadership, web use, internal and external facing.
* Primary liaison to US‑based corporate team – requires time‑zone flexibility.
* Ensure the entire local creative team’s output exceeds expectations and stakeholders requirements are met in terms of quality and delivery of results and deadlines.
* Follow brand guidelines and support visual identity systems.
* Drive and oversee creative projects from concept to completion.
* Collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling creative solutions, making quick adjustments to the needs of the business.
* Interface with executive team, taking constructive feedback and implementing.
* Follow set brand guidelines and ensure development is in line with creative development.
* Review and approve all design deliverables before release to client.
* Strong knowledge and experience with bringing execution to life, connecting with audiences through creative across web, outdoor, events, digital, ads, social and e‑commerce.
* Understand design workflows, priorities and resource allocation.
* Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies.
* Present concepts to senior leadership and clients.
* Establish quality standards and best practices for the team.
* Take feedback in a fast‑paced, sometimes priority‑shifting environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion, video, 3D tools (After Effects, Premiere, Maya, Unreal, etc.).
* Strong working knowledge of brand systems, templates, typography, layout and production standards.
* Utilisation of AI in creative development.
* Ability to accurately interpret creative briefs, specifications and global guidelines and translate them into finished assets.
* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency and quality control.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables.
* Effective collaboration and communication skills across global, cross‑functional teams.
* Comfortable operating in a structured, matrixed and deadline‑driven global organisation.
Preferred Skills
* Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience in professional design with a strong emphasis on storytelling, execution and localisation requirements.
* Experience supporting regional or international marketing teams, with working knowledge of localisation workflows and cultural considerations.
* Proven experience producing high‑volume creative assets within established brand systems.
* Experience working in B2B technology, enterprise marketing or global brand environments preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong portfolio showcasing executional design excellence across digital and marketing channels.
