To effectively coordinate Mowi’s Packaging Store and Distribution operations, ensuring an efficient turnaround of orders that meet agreed targets, while maintaining stock control. Nature and Scope:
This role has general responsibility for all warehouse buildings, surrounding areas, and functions within the Stores locations.
The role includes developing team members by identifying development needs and providing training to meet team and individual objectives.
The position involves hands-on activity and, along with supervising colleagues, holds broader responsibilities for achieving Mowi’s overall aims.
Key Areas:
1. Receiving/Put-Away: Safely unload inbound deliveries and move products to storage locations.
2. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products using various types of MHE.
3. Ensure all incoming packaging and dry goods meet company standards, specifications, and purchase orders.
4. Count, check, and record all incoming products on the stock control system.
5. Accurately label and record stored products, ensuring security and rotation of stock.
6. Maintain effective stock management and reporting systems.
7. Conduct weekly/monthly physical counts, report and reconcile variances, and input data.
8. Keep warehousing areas clean and well-maintained, organize floor space, and suggest improvements.
9. Pick and deliver stock to production areas as needed.
10. Supervise the Stores team, including training, development, managing absences, holidays, overtime, and coverage.
11. Ensure staff supervision meets service requirements, including managing absences.
12. Perform daily/weekly audits, safety inspections, and implement corrective actions.
13. Maintain equipment by enforcing operating instructions and scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs.
14. Perform other duties as directed by Line Manager and Senior Management.

* Achieve operational targets for volume and order accuracy.
* Ensure stock count accuracy and timely delivery of incoming stock.
