Your new companyYou will be joining a well-respected design and build contractor operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering projects valued up to £1.5m directly for high-profile water providers. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Project Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Shrewsbury office with occasional site visits as and when required.
Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring non-infrastructure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. Your role will include:
* Leading the planning, coordination and execution of non-infrastructure projects
* Managing client relationships and providing technical guidance where required
* Overseeing project finances, procurement and resource planning
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and industry regulations
* Working closely with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve project milestones
* Preparing progress reports, documentation and project schedules
* Identifying and mitigating project risks to maintain high levels of service delivery.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will bring:
* Proven project management experience within the water industry
* Excellent organisational and project delivery skills
* Strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
* A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and lead from the front
* Solid financial awareness and experience managing project budgets
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as and when required.
