An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Administrative Assistant to join our existing admin team, crucial in the EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) process for children and young people with SEND needs aged 0-25 years.
You will need good written and verbal communication skills, as the role involves liaising with staff, clients, and other agencies at all levels.
The role requires you to be a great team worker and a confident user of various computer systems.
The position is busy and can be complex at times, but full training will be provided.
The post is based at Ashfield Health and Wellbeing Centre, with flexibility to work from home or other locations after training.
Please note: Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check, which will be deducted from salary. The DBS application costs £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced).
Applicants are encouraged to enroll in the DBS Update Service, which has an annual fee of £16.
As part of the Admin & Clerical team, the post holder will process EHCPs as part of our SEND activities and support an effective Single Point of Access (SPA) Service for community services, performing various admin duties.
