Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties
Safely operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles
Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure all loads are safely secured
Adhere to traffic laws and company procedures
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
Assist with loading and unloading as needed
5–7 drops per day, including distance work (as far as Carlisle and Cornwall)
White goods retail deliveries using a tail lift Essential Skills
Valid UK Category C Licence
Minimum of 12month's experience driving Class 2 vehicles
Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
Good level of spoken and written English
Strong punctuality and time-keeping
Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills Desirable Experience
Experience driving other commercial vehicles
Previous multi-drop experience Training Provided
Driving assessment required prior to start
One-day paid induction following successful assessment
