This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we work towards launching our newly developed £10m Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that will deliver first-class diagnostic care to our community.
The new centre will have the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.

Lead and provide a professional, accurate and courteous appointments and reception service within the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Job responsibilities
Undertake a wide variety of roles encompassing patient appointments and be responsible for providing support to the Diagnostic Imaging Administration team, within Organisation and Departmental guidelines.
To implement administrative processes and systems that ensures transparency and consistency.

Physical Skills
* Physically able to carry duties required as per the job description
* Reliable with a flexible attitude to the workplace /working times

* Prolonged use of VDU requiring concentration at all times.
* Operating telephone and headset
* Sitting for long periods of time.
* Strong communication skills including the ability to relate and communicate with patients and staff at all levels and from different professions. Able to adapt communication style as necessary. A confident and competent formal and informal communicator
Qualifications and role specific knowledge
* Must be literate and numerate to GCSE level
* NVQ 3 or equivalent
* IT Literate
* Knowledge of general office procedures
* Experience of Hospital administrative systems including PAS, PACS, Radiology CRIS system

£28,392 to £31,157 a year pro rata, per annum
