P6 Planner / Project Controls EngineerClient side roleWorking for one of the UK's fastest growing renewable developersBerkshire Talent Partnership are proud to be working with a leading infrastructure and energy developer.Reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the business project portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around meticulous project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning: Collaborate with the engineering, project management and construction team to create comprehensive and realistic project plans, considering all aspects of the project.Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, optimising resource allocation and ensuring adherence to project timelines.Progress Tracking: Implement robust progress tracking mechanisms to monitor the project's performance and promptly address any deviations from the plan.Reporting: Prepare clear and concise project reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, milestones achieved, and potential risks and mitigation strategies.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance project planning and execution efficiency.Critical Path Analysis: Conduct critical path analysis to identify the most time-sensitive activities, providing insights to the project team for better decision-making.Requirements:Extensive experience of complex projects with values of >£50mDemonstrable experience in employment with a reputable client, consultancy or construction, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companyProficiency in Primavera P6 is a must, with a track record of successfully planning and managing complex engineering projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Ability to adapt swiftly to changing project requirements and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project plans and progress tracking.
